Our Mission
Our aim is to create safe, inclusive, and accessible spaces that reduce social isolation, foster connection, and support empowerment and recovery through low-cost or free social events, peer-led programs, and skill-building opportunities. We are committed to supporting mental health, celebrating diversity, and ensuring our programs are welcoming and empowering for LGBTQIASB+ communities, neurodiverse individuals, people with disabilities, CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities, and First Nations and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our Purpose
To enhance wellbeing and reduce social isolation across the Western Suburbs of Greater Melbourne by delivering accessible, low-to no-cost opportunities for connection, inclusion, and support.
'building belonging'
At Orya Collective, Building Belonging means intentionally creating safe, inclusive spaces where people feel accepted, valued, and connected. Belonging is not something we assume - it is something we actively build through care, respect, and shared responsibility.
Belonging at Orya Collective means people can show up as themselves, engage at their own pace, and participate without fear of judgement or exclusion. It means creating environments where differences are respected, boundaries are honoured, and everyone has a voice.
